This week, lithium carbonate prices fluctuated upward, driving lithium ore prices up WoW. Supply side, overseas mines maintained reluctance to budge on prices, with offers remaining high; the recent auction results of a major miner also reflected, to some extent, reluctance to budge on prices in bulk lithium ore transactions. Suppliers showed strong reluctance to sell, with most offers referenced against futures prices. Demand side, thanks to previous hedging operations, downstream enterprises' purchase willingness increased, and acceptable ore prices rose slightly in sync with the recovery in lithium carbonate prices. Current market sentiment recovered somewhat, with small-volume transactions occasionally heard.
